Summary: In the framework of this scientific research project the
physical principles of the mass and heat transfer have been studied within
geothermal reservoirs as well as in the system of wells. Mathematical
model has been defined, analitical solution derived and checked by
numerical solution.

Research goals: The proposed research was developing improved
(accurate) methods regarding the envisaged performance of the geothermal
reservoir. This can contribute to more realistic estimate of the possible
geothermal energy utilization with special application in Croatia.
