Summary: The investigation include 200 patiens who could be treated
by bone marrow transplantation procedure. The quality of life, level of
depression, level of axiety and body perception and experience were
scrutinized in the phase of disease, in the moment when the patient became
candidate for the transplatation and after the transplantation. The
patients were treated by psychotherapy during every phase of treatment.
All patients who were treated by BMT in the Department of hematology of
internal clinic KBC Rebro were included. The quality of life and level of
anxiety were investigated after the BMT.

Research goals: The investigation is to study some aspects of
quality of life chronic patients undergoing transplantation of bone
marrow. One of the goal of investigation was to establish a fact of impact
of regression and mechanisms of defence on therapeutic process and result
of the treatment. We also wanted to show how the anxiety and depression
influenced on results of BMT, specially on frequency of GvHD.
