Title: Temperature and surface changes of dentine and cementum induced by CO2 laser exposure

Authors:
Anić, Ivica (159102)
Journal: International Endodontic Journal
Number: 5
ISSN: 0143-2885
Volume: 26
Year: 1993
Pages: from 284 to 293
Number of references: 23
Language: engleski
Summary: The thermal effects of CO2 laser on the external root surface andinside the root canal were studied in vitro by means ofcomputerized infrared (IR) thermography and a digitalthermometer. Even low laser energy significantly damaged theexternal root cementum surfaces (SEM).
Keywords: CO2 laser, dentine, dental cementum, root canal, temperature changes.

Title: Laser induced molar tooth pulp chamber temperature changes

Authors:
Anić, Ivica (159102)
Tuđa, Marijan
Journal: Caries Research
Number: 3
ISSN: 0008-6568
Volume: 26
Year: 1992
Pages: from 165 to 169
Number of references: 18
Language: engleski
Summary: Temperature changes in enamel tissue and pulp chamber under the influence of CO2 laser were measured by different method in vitro. The observed temperature rise of 4 deg. Celsius indicate that thermal injury to the pulp tissue does not occur.
Keywords: laser, pulp chamber, temperature changes, X-ray diffraction analysis

Title: Epithelial cells in chronic periapical inflammatory lesions

Authors:
Čoklica, Vera (8240)
Čerepinko, Inga
Najžar-Fleger, Dora (33100)
Journal: International Endodontic Journal
Number: 1
ISSN: 0143-4885
Volume: 25
Year: 1992
Pages: from 33 to 0
Language: engleski
Summary: Papenheim and Papanicolau method were used in the investigation of the samples from exudate draining from different stages of the chronic periapical lesion during the endodontic therapy. Different form of epithelial cells were found in 50% teeth treated. The number of epithelial cells were different at the beginning and the end of therapy.
Keywords: Chronic periapical lesion, epithelial cells, citology

Title: Candida in root canal in accordance with oral ecology

Authors:
Najžar-Fleger, Dora (33100)
Filipović, Danica
Prpić-Mehičić, Goranka (114822)
Buntak-Kobler, Dunja (6192)
Journal: International Endodontic Journal
Number: 1
ISSN: 0143-4885
Volume: 25
Year: 1992
Pages: from 40 to 0
Language: engleski
Summary: Candida species cultivated from caries (70%) root canal (55%) plaque (36%) and gingiva (24%) suggested that carious lesion formed reservoir of yeasts. Because of dental anatomy caries was wthe only way for candida to spread into the root canal.
Keywords: Candida, culture media, localisation of Candida

Title: Clinical evaluation of the accuracy of the endometer ES-1 in locating the apical foramen

Authors:
Galić, Nada (192110)
Stare, Zoran
Šutalo, Jozo
Journal: Periodicum Biologorum
Number: 1
ISSN: 0031-5362
Volume: 95
Year: 1993
Pages: from 153 to 156
Number of references: 15
Language: engleski
Summary: Measurement of the apical foramen position of 118 root canal in vivo, was done with the endometer ES-1 constructed on ETF Zagreb. The accuracy was 97% on multirooted teeth and 100% on onerooted once.
Keywords: root canal length measurement, endometer ES-1

Title: Comparison of the sealong ability of laser softened, laterally condensed and low-temperature thermoplasticized gutta-percha

Authors:
Anić, Ivica (159102)
Matsumoto, Koukichi
Journal: Journal of Endodontics
ISSN: 0099-2399
Volume: 21
Year: 1995
Pages: from 646 to 649
Number of references: 17
Language: engleski
Summary: Apical sealing effectivenes of lateral condensation, low-temperature thermoplasticized gutta-percha (Ultrafil), vertical condensation of gutta-percha softened by means of three different laser devices (argon, CO2, and Nd:YAG lasers), or composite resin photopolymerized by argon laser were studied. The results indicate that the Ultrafil technique, lateral cindensation technique and argon laser softened gutta-percha produced good apical sealing results.
Keywords: Argon laser, CO2 laser, Nd:YAG laser, root canal obturtion techniques

Title: Dentinal heat transmission induced by a laser-softened gutta-percha obturation technique

Authors:
Anić, Ivica (159102)
Matsumoto, Koukichi
Journal: Journal of Endodontics
ISSN: 0099-2399
Volume: 21
Year: 1995
Pages: from 470 to 474
Number of references: 15
Language: engleski
Summary: Intracanal laser-softened gutta-percha (argon, CO2 and Nd:YAG lasers), Ultrafil and intracanal laser-cured composite resin technique were compared with respect to the temperature elevation on the outer root surface. In this in vitro conditions, argon laser produced a rise in temperature of +12.9 degree C (gutta-percha) and + 13.3 degree C (composite resin), respectively. The CO2 laser produced a rise in temperature of + 10.3 degree C and, Nd:YAG laser produce a rise of +14.4 degree C. Ultrafil technique did not produce a measurable temperature changes on the external root surface.
Keywords: Argon laser, CO2 laser, Nd:YAG laser, thermoplasticized gutta-percha, dental root canal

Volume: 1st
Year: 1993
Pages: from 75 to 0
Number of references: 103
Language: engleski
Summary: It was the hystological investigation of the possible toxicimpact of Sealapex, Apexit and Diaket implanted on the connectivetissue of mice. The test period was 2, 8 and 30 day respectively.Different intensity of inflammation were found in the differentmaterials.
