Summary: This is the experimental clinical and laboratory research in endodontics and cariesology. Clinical study investigate the condition of composite fillings in the oral cavity by means of USPHS method, amalgam fillings electric potential, and secondary caries, origin of profession ussuras, caries and tooth erosion including the morphological problems in endodontic therapy. Laboratory investigation includes the aplicability the citochemical and citomorphological (MGG) methods in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in teeth with chronic periapical lesions under going endodontic therapy. Quantitative study of immunoglobulins and lisins in pulp and periapical lesions shows the amount of immunology involved proteins (IGG, IGA, IGM) compare to total protein content in investigated tissues. Microbiological study of Candida and Trichomonas tenax shows their presence in microbial plaque community, in caries and endodontic spaces. This is the contribution to the oral ecology science and national pathology study in dentistry. Resistance of C.albicans, S.mutans and S.faecalis to Ca(OH)2 water solution, in vitro, explained its efficiency in clinical endodontics. The tolerance of vital tissues on Ca(OH)2 root sealers is studied in vivo experiments (root tail of mice C-57 B1/6). The influence of infection (S.mutans, Veillonella) and operative trauma on dentinogenesis in vivo (Zg-Whister rats) shows the stronger damages of dentinogenesis in mixed infection of pulp tissue than in monoinfection and operative trauma. The influence of different lasers beams on hard dental tissues and on the oral micloflora contribute to the knowledge of the applicability of laser technology of dentistry. This is a basic science study from laser technology.

Keywords: endodontics, microbiology, oral ecology, immunology, dentinogenesis, citology, laser, toxicology, calcium hydroxide, amalgam, professional disturbances.

Research goals: This is the clinical and experimental research that include same aspects of etiology and laboratory diagnostic procedures in endodontics, reaction of hard tissue to operative trauma, infection, CO2, argon, Nd:YAG, Ga-As, Xe-Cl laser beams, tissue tolerance on endodontic root canal sealers, immunity to infection, effects of laser beam on oral microflora (Ga-As and Xe-Cl) with purpose to diagnostic methods and therapeutic procedures in stomatology. As a part of general effort in science to contribute in oral ecology research, usage of laser in endodontics and cariesology and teeth'protection from professional damages. Scientific contribution could be : Improving the knowledge about Candida and Trichomonas tenax distribution in plaque microbial community, in caries and endodontic areas and classified the Trichomonas tenax proteinases from oral cavity. Influence of infection and operative trauma on the pulp tissue of experimental animals (Zg-Whistar rats), amalgam intoxication influence to haematotoeses, condition of filling materials inoral environment, tissue tolerance to endodontic root canal filling materials and teeth protection from professional damages. Applicability the cytological methods in diagnosis and prognosis of disease during the endodontic therapy of periapical lesions, and apical sealing ability by means of laser devices. The influence of CO2, argon, Nd:YAG and Ga-As laser beams on dentin and tooth cementum could be the contribution to a new technology application in endodontic and operative dentistry.
