Year: 1994
Pages: from 193 to 196
Number of references: 6
Language: engleski
Summary: Amixture of triterpenic acids was isolated from an extract of the overground parts of Micromeria thymifolia. The HPLC revealed that the mixture consisted of ursolic and oleanolic acids. Triterpenic acids were separated by gas chromatography after being transformed into TMS derivatives. The identity of ursolic and oleanolic acids was confirmed by the mass spectra of their TMS derivatives.

Title: ntimicrobial activity of essential oil from Micromeria thymifolia(Scop.)Fritsch

Authors:
Kalođera, Zdenka (19931)
Pepeljnjak, Stjepan
Vladimir, Sanda (170161)
Blažević, Nikola (4041)
Journal: Die Pharmazie
Number: 5
ISSN: 0031-7144
Volume: 4919
Year: 44
Pages: from 37637 to 7
Number of references: 8
Language: engleski
Summary: The antimicrobial activity of the essential oil was examined.Content and composition of the essential oil was determined.Overground parts yielded 1,24g of essential oil from 100g of dry plant material. The main components in the oil were terpene derivates, mostly pulegon(40,65%).The investigation of antimicrobial activity included 28 species of bacteria and 20 species of fungi. The activity of the essential oil was compared with the antimicrobial activity of pulegon as a main component. The Minimum Inhibitory Concentration(MIC)and the Minimum Microbicidal Concentration đ(MMC) of the essential oil and pulegon was determined by the broth dilution method.

Title: Variations in yields and composition of immortelle (Helichrysum italicum Roth.Guss.) essential oil from different locations vegetation periods along adriatic coast

Authors:
Blažević, Nikola (4041)
Petričić, Jovan (36682)
Stanić, Gordana (42473)
Journal: Acta Pharm.
Number: 4
ISSN: 1330-0075
Volume: 45
Year: 1995
Number of references: 7
Language: engleski
Summary: Immortelle was collected at nine defferent locations along the Adriatic coast. One location was chosen to variations in oil yields and composition in different vegetative stages (six samples).Thge oil yield of the samples collected from different locations ranged from 0,08% to 0,32% and for samples in different stages of development were from 0,06% to 0,35%. The composition of the oils were analyzedd by GC and GC-MS.
