Summary: Round 4,2 million m3 of timber were transported on 408 foresttrucks in 1988. By a statistical/mathematical processing of thethe surveyed data and an analysis of the test results, we createda model for comparative analyses the productivity, efficiency andprice of timber transport. The improvements are possible withsmall investments though with a number of changes in timbertransport organization.
