Summary: The concept and pricing of the timeshare product appeals to,and is affordable by,a sizable number of individuals.The breadth and diversity of the market available to the developer tends to increase the probability of attaining a greater level of property sales without the additional investments. This is particularly beneficial to the economy of a community that is overly dependent upon one specific season.

Research goals: Elaboration of balance of payments effects, analysis of the multipliers effect on GDP of the Republic of Croatia and the significance of timeshare for the croatian tourism, as with most real estate investment, the financing arrangement for timeshare projects will offer an integral part of successful timeshare marketing and sales program. Knowledge of the demographics of a timeshare buyer will prove especially useful during the initial analysis of the potential market segments available to and capable of being captured by the timeshare property and the corresponding market feasibility of the project.
