Summary: Models for adult education are based on educational needs
andcorresponding concepts of adult education. A model of educationis a
sample pattern and is standardized. It has its structure andconfiguration
of elements for establishment of connections,relations and continuations.
The paper emphasizes fourcharacteristics of a model of education.
Groups of models of vocational training have their origin insocial
employment conditions. For our current situation amongthese models of
special interest are models of traineship andintroduction to employment,

Summary: Disabiling and the remaining occupational ability of
disabledworkers are not understood unabmiguously as a result,
attitudestowards disabled workers and the procedures adopted towards
themvary. Data on the estimates of medical boards in the Republic ofCroatia
indicate that 80% of the cases that came before theboards in the late
fifties and in the late sixties were deemed tobe disabled workers, while
the number of such cases in the lateeighties was about 50%. The results
reported indicate theimportance of paramedical factors of the
occupationalrehabilitation of disabled workers and war disabled.
