Summary: The education as an interactive-communicative process has always been in an interpersonal relation and was dependent of existing way of communication. But, unfortunately, sufficient attention has not been given to that. Luckily, in recent time, in the light of micropedagogical researches and achievements, the importance of interaction as well as the role of communication, for educational efficiency, has been more and more appreciated. Uo to now in the educational science, in its first plan, were macropedagogical researches of the education in the relation to society - family - school. Less atantion was paid to micropedagogical problems connected to the interpersonal relation, to interaction as well as to communication in education. The communication is the important condition for effective education. Qualifying parents and teachers for a successful communication, mutual understanding and tolerance in family and school is the task of this project. It cannot be realized only with pieces of information and acquiring of knowledge on the rational plan. To develop communicative abilities in persons, among other things, it is to be able to communicate feelings verbally and nonverbally. Above all it is necessary to develop skills as e.g. empathic listening as well as empathic understanding. In this project an equal attention is paid to reference and content as well as verbal and nonverbal aspects of communication, feedback etc. As the results we expect: the detailed models of qualifying parents and teachers, the manual of interpersonal communiciation in the family and school. Although the researches in this project are directed to the family and school, they have a broader meaning. On a larger view, this project could help towards the democratization and humanization of personal, professional and social relations.

Research goals: The goals of this project are: To research problems of educational communication in the family and school; To discover factors on which, in a greater measure, the efficiency of interpersonal communication and mutual understanding as well as tolerance, depends; To know regularities in cennection of the interpersonal communication in the family and school, as well as in the efficiency of educational activities. In this project an equal attention is paid to reference and content aspect of communication. From the aspect of reference the confidence as a foundation stone comes to the first plan of every human communication. From the aspect of content, the condition of an effective communication is a common resource of signs which gives us equal possibilities for decoding. In the contex of international undestanding at this aspect we come to the problem of knowing foreing languages, as a common code for mutual communication. As the results we expect: To develop models in enabling parents and teachers for successful educational communication; To work out recomendations for improving pedagogical practice; To compose the manual for parents and teachers; To complete doctoral disertation; A spacial attantion is paid to qualify students for future teachers. In connection with that it is necessary: To develop models for the intensification of interpersonal communication in the study; To work out in detail the programme of improving the communication in lectures, seminars and exercises at the faculty. On a larger view, this project could help towards the democratization and humanization of relations in the society.
