Summary: The evaluated neutrality of knowledge and of scientific knowledgeis a fiction which results from the partiality of every singleknowledge of the world, not one piece of knowledge can beevaluated as neutral, so that every teaching is, at the sametime, a kind of directing towards certain values. In other words, ratio cannot realize anything that has not been previouslycreated by the creative mind, which in turn always actsteleologically (with a purpose; determined with respect tovalue). Hawever, the world is, in its essence, multiminded, so that thetruth can be reached only through an openness towards thedifferent, and that alove all means - through love for others asdifferent.

    Zovko, Marie-Elise (177093)
    Publisher: Hrvatsko filozofsko društvo
    Year: 1991
    Number of pages: 146
    Language: hrvatski
Summary: H. thought he had discovered a temporal sense of being, previously forgotten by philosophy. P.'s theory of time refutesH.'s critique of the "forgetfulness of being", i.e. philosophy'signorance of being's temporality. P. unfolds a concentrichierarchy of being proceeding from the one beyond all being tothe life of the soul, which is time. Temporal being is destinedto overcome the discontinuity of "not yet" and "no more", andreach complete effectivity in the union of being and thought, which is eternity. H's analysis of the finiteness and facticityof the "existence" that "concerns itself" with being leads him toconceive the "event" of being as temporality in its finiteness, and so offers an essentially materialistic view of transcendence.
    Keywords: Being, time, existence.

Summary: The question on the organization of philosophy teachin is aserious one, answered differently according to the individualphilosophic orientation displayed in the act of instruction, inphilosophy curriculum, and in teachers manuals as well. Summary: The world historically begins and continue to exsist as theinvention of man. By activiting his free and creative spirit, manhas created the world that sensorily gives itself to him asmaterial fact, but it is material only because its sensorealityis spiritual or consious sensoreality which recognizes thematerial as its subject-matter. However, man himself is a creature of the world which means thatnot only he lives in the world, but the world lives in him, aswell. In the historical interweaving of the world and the man, culture emerges and develops as man's true nature and educationas the mode of its renewal.

    Pages: from 43 to 55
    Number of references: 17
    Language: hrvatski
Summary: De-ideologization, and the de-ideologization of education inparticular, does not assume the caracter of being a critique ofideology (ie, as being something that is creative and free). Itconsequently does not violate the limitations of the existent, and can never do so, because it betrays a hiddenre-ideologization. For ideology, in essence, is precisely thatwhich it strives to conceal itself as, and sometimes takes on thede-ideologization of education is, necessarily a theoreticalunderstatement, but is in practice on ideological guide forshaping "new" reflective blueprints, which seen from the point ofview of de-ideologization, seeks to monopolize the entirereflective process.

    Language: hrvatski
Summary: Discussion about death is mostly ignored, and when discussed itis trivialized. In pedagogical literature, however, the treatmentof death is essentially differentiated between religious andanti-religious authors. The official non-religious approach oftehe socialist period trivialized the problem of death, but thishas now changed in the post-socialist period with theintroduction of religious discussions about death, especially inNamely, one irreligious perspective shows that the question ofdeath is essentially related to the question of life, thereforean education that ignores death also ignores life.

    Year: 1991
    Pages: from 397 to 408
    Number of references: 23
    Language: hrvatski
Summary: The attempt was made in this article to show that thepositivist's idea of metaphorical meaning as "deviant" isillfounded. The truth criteria are not applicable to metaphoricalmeaning. Hence it is possible to say that (literal) falacy isunimportant compared to the cognitive import of metaphoricity. Itis thepossibility of the juxtapostition of normally notaffiliated terms that is so often explanations. Metaphiors thusappear, contrary to the standard belief, as a mode ofspecification of meaning.

Title: How is Radically New Knowledge Possible or Bridging the New and the Old in a Metaphorical Way

    Authors:
    Radman, Zdravko (39696)
    Journal: Synthesis Philosophica
    Number: 11
    ISSN: 0352-7875
    Volume: 6
    Year: 1991
    Pages: from 55 to 64
    Number of references: 28
    Language: engleski
Summary: The problem of the epistemological chasm which emerges betweenthe radically new and the old knowledge schema, was expounded inthis article on the example of metaphorical language. Metaphors, whose meaning is typically formulated so that the unknown becomesaccesible by means of the known, proved to be an adequate andefficient instrument of acquiring novel knowledge. Explicationand understanding of the new thus becomes possibloe due to thecognitive network of the old. The limitation of the sort, however, should not be interpreted in such a way so that radically newknowledge seems to be impossible; what is not possible is thatthe explanation of the radical novelty be equally radical, because it would be incomprehensive and uncommunicable. It is forthis reason that a metaphorical form of explanation is sofrequently used in science and elswhere as a modus of mediationof the new and unknown.
Keywords: Epistemology, metaphor, old-new, known-unknown, radical novelty, familiarity, creativity.

    Pages: from 485 to 493
    Language: engleski
Summary: According to B., time and matter, though revealing our state ofdisintegration, at the same time arrest the tendency of evil todraw all being into its own self-annihilation. Temporal realityas we know it is neither absolutely oppesed to divine life (falsetime) nor completely united the source of being (true or eternaltime). "Apparent time" or the time of this world, has no realpresent, perpetually flees its own center. Nevetheless, it is a"time of grace", because it holds open the possibility of a finalreintegration of the elements of our being by giving us theopportunity to turn back from the egoistic delusion of beingoneself the ground of one's own being. In this we reflect the actof divine love which limits itself in order to let individuallife come to be.

Summary: As regards to the rupture which has taken place as a result ofthe departure out of the socialist and into the post-socialistmilieu, the author attempts to read the characteristic picturesof the destructiveness of ideology which crucified intellectuals, creating out of them shaken or even split personalities.According to the author, the mercilessnes of ideology consists inthe exoenditure and eventual destruction of individuality. Theonly remaining possibility for ideological discussion withinsocial suroundings is that hte affected persons now feel andbehave as though they were in a cage, disguising what theideological media has to them.

Summary: Responsible thinking thinks how to create what is has thought, asweel as that wich it has not but should have thought. Followingthe departure of philosophy from academic circles and its journeyinto the world, we are left with a terrible accident. Like thetheory and science of physics, philosophy too is not immune fromanswering for accidents. In the sam wey as physicists play withthe forces of the universe, so too philosophers cannot resistther forces of history. And the results of booth instances arevisible.

Summary: Kant's logocentrism is an attempt of determination of humanreason in terms of concepts 'a priori'. In this paper the authorpoints out four aspects of finality of reason: (1) the reason'slimitation to human experience; (2) the discursive character ofreason; (3) in order to control the experience, the reason is tosearch for the universal only by heuristic rules; (4) the reasoncan't find the concepts for the characterization of someintuitive features, organized entites and the nature as a whole.

Summary: The author in this text offers a series of hypothesis regardingthe manner in which Kant solved the fundamental problem oftranscendental philosophy, namely, the problem of the possibilityof synthetic judgements a priori. The task at hand is todetermini the a priori conditions required for syntheticjudgements to be presumed as either given or true. This, as theauthor himself indicates, entails an analysis of some of themajor steps of Kant's philosophical metod: the theory ofcategories, the metaphisical and transcendental exposition ofjudgements, the status of concepts (eg. space and time), and theoperations of pure reason. The author also offers an analysis ofthe theses of objectivity and ideality, as well as Kant'stranscendental deduction. In the end, the author demonstratesthat there is a circle in Kant's transcendental proofs, althoughnot a vicious one.

Summary: The author claims that it is possible to look for the origins ofKant's philosophical method in the combined analysis andsynthesis method of ancient Greek geometry. The combined method, consisting of 'analysis proper' or 'transformation & resolution',costituting analysis, and 'construction & proof', constitutingsynthesis, enabled the Greek geometers to solve both theoreticaland construstion problems. The author states that Kant used thesame method, adapted and transformed to a certain extent, duringhis critical period, as well as in order to solve the centralproblem of his transcendental philosophy, as presented in thefirst 'Critique and Prolegomena'.

Summary: The article considers L”with's world view and the difficultiesthat occur with it. L”with reconstructs the ancient world viewaccording to which the world is equated with nature. The worldalways includes the relation to God and man, and therefore L”withmarks the periods of the world history as theism, deism andatheism. In the parallel course the philosophical history passesthe stages of cosmotheology, anthropotheology and the philosophyof emantipation of man. L”with finds in the philosophy ofNietzsche possibilities for the reversal to the original, i.e.ancient state, and not only in the philosophical hisory but alsoin the world history. Thus, it turns out that the maindifficulties of L”with's philosophical position proceed exactlyform the indistinguishableness of the reflexive level from thelevel of the subject-matter.

Summary: Frane Petrić's social-philosophical ideas are conceptualized in his early, first published work 'The Happy City'. The analysis of this work, compared with Ancient, Medieval and Renaissance's utopias from Plato to More and Campanella, shows that Petric's social-philosophical concept of world does not have principally an utopian character. In some extent it is closer related to the realistic political concept of Machiavelli, with differences followed from the basis resource of Petrić's ideas - Ancient Greek thought, particularly Aristote's social philosophy.

Title: Nature and Got: The Historical and Speculative Relationship of the Philosophies of Schelling and Baader
    Faculty: Filozofski fakultet Albert-Ludwigs-Universit„t
    Author: ZOVKO MARIE-ELISE
    Date of defense: 07/10/92
    Language: njemački
    Number of pages: 393
Summary: Baader's importance for the development of Schellings thought hasbeen previously underestimated. Schellings earliest drafts of adynamic philosophy of nature already give evidence of a seriousconsideration of B.'s ideas. The attempt to give a philosophical interpretation of J. B”hmes intuitive speculation on nature andGod brings Sch. and B. at first closer together. Theirdisagreement on the authoritative explication, especially ofB”hme's idea of "a nature in god", leads, however, to the breachof their friendship. B.'s and Sch.'s differing conceptions ofthe relationship between God and nature, human consciousnessand nature, are also at the heart of their later conflictconcerning the relationship of philosophy and revelation, thoughtand religious faith, as well as concerning the idea of a"religious or" a genuinely "positive philosophy", respectively.
    Keywords: Nature, god, evil.
