Summary: This project is at a level of the programme on line with contemporary philosophical endeavours to shift the problem of the world inhereted from the position of certainty and self-comprehensibility to the centre of philosophical speculation. In the historical and philosophical part, the ultimate goal of research is to make a complete survey of the problems of world in the history of philosophy. However, at its initial stage researh is limited to an historical and philosophical treatment of the most important periods for the subject-matter of the project, namely German Idealism and contemporary philosophy. In the section that discusses these problems resarch is performed in several initially defined thematic areas: education and the world, metaphor and the world, the problem of the historical world, relations of the social world and idealic paradigms. A further expansion of the areas of problems is connected with the courses and outcomes of the already performed studies.

Research goals: The goal of research is to shape a new movement in Croatian philosophy, according to strict scientific criteria, into a recognizable philosophical school, which will find its place not only in Croatia, but also on the international spiritual stage, thanks to its achieved results. The outcome of research, as has been the case so far, are expected to be revealed to the public in a series of published studies, whereas the areas of problems treated now in this research are expected to spread to related spiritual spheres.
