Summary: Project contains more themes relative to investigation
ofmaterial and spiritual culture of Croats on territory of thefirst
croatian state in period from 9th to 12th century. Thesubjects of
investigation are early croate graveyards,settlements and churches and also
mediaeval christianphilosophy-mistique. The work on this project is based
on theresults of systematic archeological excavations. The
scientificinterpretation of this results affirms and supplements
formercognitions but also brings up some new facts.

Research goals: The purpose is to explore systematically some very
important early croatian archeological sites like Bijaći (Sv. Marta) and
Proložac (Sv. Mihovil) and to publish and scientifically interpret the
results of this excavations. It could be expected that this investigations
shed light on the material and spiritual achievements on the territory of
