Summary: The analysis of individual forms of jewellery and
ornamentalsections of attire from the late Bronze Age in Croatia willbegin
with a mongraph about fibulae from Istria and Dalmatia, inthe series
Praehistorische Bronzefunde. The catalogue is almostcompleted, and the
typological analysis is being performed.Preparations are underway for a
major work on finds from gravesand hoards of the late Bronze Age and early
Iron Age in Dalmatia.

Research goals: The aim of the poroject is a complete organization
of theavailable data and an analysis, in published form, of
individualforms of prehistoric metal jewellery. The first stage
willconcern fibulae from Istria and Dalmatia. A detailed catalogue ofthe
finds with precise citation of the archaeological proveniencewould
represent the framework for a study of the chronology andcultural
development of the Bronze and early Iron Age in Croatia.New results from
the analysis of the gathered data or newarchaeological find will bi
published in the appropriate journalsduring work on project.
