Summary: August Šenoa is the most significant personage in the 19th century Croatian literature. None of previous of Šenoa's collected works, and there were quite of them, were really complete because his writing in Czech language (in Prague) and in German (in Vienna) has been completely uninvestigated till now, and so it is missing in all those editions. The entire Šenoa's creation will be elaborated critically, linguistically and textually and as such offered to Croatian cultural public for the first time. The edition will partly be bilingual, as from Šenoa's supplements, primarily written in Czech and German respectively, the original copy and the Croatian translation will be presented.

Research goals: The goal of this research is that the Croatian cultural public and Croatian literature science, especially its historical part, get the final, complete and credible collected works by this classic who belongs to the newer Croatian literature, because none of the previous editions which pretended to be collected works were not, and the credibility of the texts in them was often questionable, because of the inadequate editor's principles which were applied under political pressure upon Croatian language.
