Summary: The dictation is a component part of solfeggio. In the musical education practice in our schools of music, its importance is neglected. Going from the hypothesis of significant possibilities in dictate application during child and youth musical education and its influence on musical ability development, the research is made in a purpose to proof mentioned effects and possibilities in using musical dictation.

Research goals: Find out the level of dictate application and its forms insolfeggio and musical education of children and youth in schoolsof music pointing out the dictate performing quality according to the realized results giving the suggestion of usingnew possibilities in application of dictation during the musicaleducation. to suggest the forms of dictation that will help in children andyouth musical abilities development, as well as in their generalmusical skillfulness.
