Summary: So far very little research, if any, has been done
on the
problem of plural morpheme acquisition in Croatian.
Collected data are considered from different aspects, such
as correct and/or incorrect inflections in plural at different
age levels (where subjects were 50 children), the proper usage ofplural
within the semantic context, and the adult response/intervention. The
intention of this paper is to put more light onplural acquistion in
Croatian as well as to provide additional findings in a favor of
existing theories.

Summary: The aim of this project was to create and to test a
software for the evaluation of articulation. The software contains a
diagnostic file for each patient and four picture naming tests which are
primarily intended for articulation examination; it also provides
information about the general language status: reception and expression,
grammaticality, fluency, rhythm and tempo, speed of verbal expression and
attention deficit, if present.

Summary: The aim of the current paper is acoustic analysis of two
healthy infant's vocalization. The following different shapes of
vocalization are analized: the first cry of newborn infant, pain cry, laugh
and babling. Analysis was made from two different aspects: communicational
and noncommunicational. According to the intention of communication,
vocalization is divided into: crying conditioned by a physiological state,
emotional expression (content - discontent) and babling. Variation of F0
and intensity of vocal signal in determined time segments were observed in
the framework of prosodic analysis. Some metaphonological aspect was
classified according to spectral characteristics: F0 characteristics (min.
F0, max. F0, F0 range, F0 changes according to age and different forms of
vocalization), visibility and a number of harmonics and presence or absence
of noise.
