Summary: A multi-purpose solid-state iodide-selective electrode was
constructed as a compact tubular sensor wich has dimensions of the sensing
hole: 2,0 mm i.d. and 1,2 mm length. The behaviour, suitability and
incorporation of the tubular electrode into the conduit of a flow-injection
system have been described. Application of the tubular electrode is
exemplified by the determination of thiourea in 0,1 M HClO4 as supporting
electrolyte by using of a flow-injection system. The rectilinear
calibration graph was obtained by plotting the peak hight versus
concentration of thiourea. The detection limit was 0,02 mM under optimized
flow conditions (Flow-rate: 1,2 mL/min; V-sample: 0,2 mL; 510-5 M silver
ions carrier stream).

Summary: In this work kinetics potentiometric method of
determinationof iron(III), based on the iron(III)-monofluoride
complexformation reaction in acidic solution (pH=2.0) is described.
Theinitial rates of iron-fluoride complex formation in the
solution, calculated from the non-steady-state potential values
recordedafter addition of Fe(III), were shown to be proportional to
theanalytical concentration of this ion in solution. The describedprocedure
can be successfuly applied for the determination offree Fe(III) or labile
Fe(III) (as the fluoride may displaceweaker ligands) in the range of iron
quantity from 0.001 to 0.020mmol.

Summary: In this work potentiometric determination of aluminium
inmixtures 2-propanol + water by using fluoride ion-selectiveelectrode has
been examined. Based on the experimental values (E,pH) recorded during a
titration course the overall formationconstant of Al(III)-heksafluorid
complex has been calculated. Itwas observed tha the value of formation
constant increases byincreasing vol % of organic solvent in solution. The
proposedmethod can be successfuly applied for the determination ofaluminium
in the cell solution when its concetration is >0.01mmol/L.

Summary: A multi-purpose flow-through sensor with, AgI-based
selective membrane is constructed. The membrane was prepared by pressing
mixture of silver salts (AgI + Ag2S) and PTFE powder. The sensing hole of
sensor has 2,0 mm i.d. and 1,2 mm length. The behaviour sutability and
incorporation of the tubular electrode into the conduit of a flow-injection
system are described. Application of the tubular electrode is exemplified
by the determination of cysteine in 0,1 M HClO4 as supporting electrolyte
by using of a flow-injection system. A rectilinear calibration graph is
obtained by plotting the peak height versus concentration of cysteine. The
described method provides determination of cysteine in the concentration
range from 110-4 to 110-1 mol/L, under optimized flow conditions
(Flow-rate: 2,5 mL/min; V-sample: 0,2 mL; Ag+Ć = 510-5 mol/L).
