Summary: Synopsis Research and development of new numerical methods
for aerodynamic design of missiles in subsonic domain. Selection of
mathematical models for design of simulators, trainers, and guidance
systems. Research and design of modern digital guidance systems of AT
missiles. Expert analysis and guidance system performance validation based
on off-line, hardware-in-the-loop simulation and Monte Carlo simulation.
Design of real time flight simulators based on multi-processors on DSP and
PC platforms.

Research goals: Goals and Results Generally, the basic goal of the
project is to establish a scientific/research infrastructure (core team),
capable to work with corresponding research teams on guided missile systems
in developed countries, and to transfer their knowledge to Croatia. New
technologies developed in this field (application of numerical methods,
off-line simulations, real time simulations, hardware-in-the-loop
simulation) are already being used in almost all non-military applications
in the world. The more particular goal of this project is guidance system
synthesis for an AT missile.
