Summary: The project investigates the existings and the developed
package programs required for development of CIM system peculiar to our,
through conventional equipment and technology, limited conditions of
development. The integration of CAD and CAM system has been performed and
the system for design and technology application for CNC machines and
conventionally equipped working places and machines has been developed. The
automatized manufacturing line based on CIM system model for rotational
parts with certain requirements for milling procedure has been developed.
The subsystems for guidance of manufacturing, qualitu assurance and
capacity maintenance for present and future requirements with expected
participation of CIM system are being developed and integrated. The model
of flexible relation towards the environment, process of organization and
system of manufacturing has been researshed and established.

Research goals: The set concept of CIM system requires the
integration of CAD,CAM, CAP, CAPP, CAQ and CAM systems as well as the
direct communication to the operating units of CNC machines, conveyors and
handling devices. This integrated system sets the following requirements: -
Research of the process of organization which ensures flexibility of the
manufacturing system towards the environment, -3D (CAD) system IPU Moscow
followed by translation of the interactive function in our language with
building in of our packages DD, DD/NC and SHEMA. - Research, definition
and development of the system of design and elaboration of technological
procedures for conventional and NC and CNC machines for the following
technologies: cutting, processing by removal of particles, plastic
deformation, welding, heat treatment, pipe fitter and erection works as
well as anticorrosive protection. - Research and deffinition of operating
conditions for CIM system, operating subsystem for manufacturing ASUPIM,
maintenance of capacities ODKAP and quality assurance OSKVO. - Development
of the expert system for design of technology with model for choice of the
optimal procedure, - Development of the hardware part of CIM system on the
basis of CNC lathe and milling machine as well as handling device. -
Investigate the influence of automatization on motivation of the operators.
- Integration of the finalized software and hardware part into CIM system
for processing of the small rotational parts. THE EXPECTED RESULTS: -
Acquiring of knowledge in integration of software and building up of CIM
system, - Development of our own system of design and technology processing
based on the existing solutions in the world, taking into account our
peculiarity of significant amount of the convetional equipment, -Through
research redefine the Informational system and develop the concept and
program packages for functioning of the informational subsystems, -
Elaboration of data base and the expert system for the welding technology,
- Finalizing of the CIM system modul on the basis of the purchased basic
equipment and the manufactured auxilliary equipment as well as our own
