Summary: In the research is included linear and nonlinear theory of
beams, plates and 3D structures, and the optimisation problems of
structures. Also are included flexible prestressed structures made of
fabric materials and cable nets. Automatic recognition of rod and beam
structures is investigated. Material, geometric nonlinearity and the
contact problems are included.
Research goals: In this theme the solution of some actual problems
of structuralanalysis in civil engineering is expected: -Formation of
mathematical model of beams from 3D theory ofelasticity -Development and
aplications of thin and moderately deep plate model -Analysis of geometric
uniqueness of composite structures -Analysis of flexibile elastic plates in
transcritic region using the Finite Diference Method -Aplication of the
Finite Diference Method on complex 3D domains -Mathematical models of
structures with elastomeric supports -Parametric oscilations of space frame
with arbitrary number ofdegrees of freedom and aplications on the seismic
analysis -Improved algorithms for analysis of matherial and geometric
nonlinear behaviour of structures -development of the reduction dimension
method -Optimisation of the grid foundation with plate on the
elastichalfspace -Optimisation of the solutions in bridge building During
this research six doctoral theses and three master thesesare expected.(For
doctorates and one master these are stillin process).
