Summary: In this scientific programme, on the basis of earlier
researches and conclusions regarding flysch layers, a new element for
analysis - "structure on the skope", is introduced. By such a general
treating the structure together with the geotechnical media more economic
solution can be achived. Basic characteristics of the flysch are: great
biological heteragonity and anyzotropy due to frequent vertical changes
various biological elements, even in direction at the sedimentation.
Therefore, the flysch formations are very specific and its general
characteristics differ, in a great extent, in relation to the
characteristics at particular elements. The following researches were
made: * Elaboration of an integral engineering-geological model
(IIGM), by which it is possible to integrate all single IG profiles in
a logical whole, representative for specific area. * Elaboration
of a geotechnical model (GM) by which rock mass to similar
geotechnical characteristic zones can be devided (on the basis at Q
and RMR classifications). * Elaboration of a mathematical model (RM),
separated from GM, by which stresses, straines and stability in static
and seizmic conditions for critical stages of constructions. By
this solutions, interaction between the objects and geotechnical media
can be introduced in calculations. Detailed calculations with
corresponding analyses for tunnels, anchored supporting structures and
foundations is made.
Keywords: flysch slope, integral engineering geological model, geotechnical model, mathematical model, interaction structure-flysch rock mass
Research goals: The basic aim of the research is a synthesis and
scientific interpretation of the results regarding flysch complex,
especially problem of interaction object - flysch layers in static, as well
in seismic conditions. Seismic conditions in most cases were not taken in
consideration till now. By means of laboratory and "in situ" geotechnical
testings and statistical analysis of the results, several correlations
between mineralogic and petrography composition and geotechnical properties
of the flysch were established. It was found mechanical behaviour of the
flysch to be very complicated, the main reason beeing its heterogenity. The
importance of the researches is evaluation possibility of the parameters
necessary to form calculation models with object - flysch slope interaction
included. Calculations and analyses of tunnels, anchored retaining
walls and foundations of complex structures using computer programme Z-SOIL
(finite element method) and programme FLAC (finite difference method)
indicate the possibility of getting essentially better design solutions
then it was possible before, especially when critical construction phases
are considered. Other information about the project.
