Summary: In purpose of improvement understanding about diagnostic
and treatment of acute craniocererbal lesions 2oo injured people will be
processed. newest diagnostic procedures and monitoring of physiological
and pathophysiological parameters duroing treatmen and rehabilitaition
will be used. In investigation biomechanical and pathological
characteristics in brain injuries wikll be inclkuded, as well as
disturbance of brain perfusion, edema and ICP increase. At the same time
we shall estimate efficientness of conservative and surgical procedures
respectivelly. Dznamic of pszchological functions recovery will be
speciallz examined, as well as neurological damage intensity. The aim of
investigation is how to elevate efficientness of treatment and
rehabilitation procedures in severe craniocerebral injuries.
Research goals: Number of patients with cranbiocerebral injuries
increase daiily especially thopse with politraumatiyed oinjuries (traffic
accidents, injuries on eorking place). The most of them belong to work
active population, so it is vez important to apply the rationality and
most efficient therapeutic propcedures, as well as preventivce and
rrehabilitational. The purpose of this investigation is further
development and improvement of knowlegments about diagnostic and
therapeutic management of acute craniocerebral injuries. POne of assigment
is to examine better monitoring procedures of IC pressure, and brain
functions. Invalidity and work ability loss is the frequent outcome of
craniocerebraln injuries, so the investigation of changes ehich develop in
recovery and rehabilitation time has a priority. Assesment of neurological
and psychological damage, and remaining work ability is an important part
of investigation. The aim of investigation is how to elevate efficientness
and succesfulmness of therapeutic and rehabilitation procedures. Other information about the project.
