Summary: The project involves synthesis and characterization of potentialy biologicaly active substances, their attachment as well as the attachement of well known drugs on biocompatible polymers either by chemical bond or by entrapment into microparticles, liposomes and other novel delivery systems, and characterization of substances and therapeutical systems by chemical, physico-chemical, microbiological and biological methods.

Research goals: The purpose of investigation is chemical and biopharmaceutical evaluation of newly synthetized compounds, novel drug delivery systems of established drugs and potential therapeutic systems of biologicaly active but not yet accepted substances.
