Summary: The intention of the subject research programme is to make
a shift in the sense of the rational and market competitive food. The
conception of the rational and market competitive food production includes,
implicitly, a distinctive turn point in all production fields: restoration
of the soil balance (biogenously, pH) with accentuation on the organic
substratum of the soil as living substance and ideal basis for plant
growing. The turn point in the production means the introduction of new
technologies and technical sollutions convinient to the conception of
profitable and healthy food. A part of ecologic research efforts is
performed with purpose to determine influ- nces of hydrologica conditions
and quantity of fertilizers, applied over the soil with different
structure, to crops yield and quality, as well as pollution of environment
throughout underground and ground waters.
Research goals: Although there are only very few researches on this
subject carried out, based on biologic and ecologic agronomy, the results
obtained are reciprocally inconsistent, what points out the complexity of
the problem. This leads us to the conclusion that such researches are
necessarily to be performed in order to help solving the problem by setting
up few aims. Can the method of soil cultivation, used today (slow crop
rotation), be changed in order to win biologicly healthier and commercially
more profitable food? Answering this question needs a whole range of
experimental researches with following aims: - defining the optimal
fertilization for the distinctive crop in the crop rotation by drawing a
parallel between the common applied fertilization and the combined (organic
and mineral) one, and observing chemical and microbiological changes to the
soil, in other words, their influence to crop yield components and quality
of the most important field crops. Each of the plant growth supporting
ellements in the soil has its specific role in the life processes of the
plant. - Aim and intention of this research is the scientific
authentication, in field circumstances, of how, when and in which amount
comes to the contamination of the soil and water by using organic and
mineral fertilizers during the main crop production. Exact measurements
give us ellements to control, reduce or prevent ecologically harmful
effects. Other information about the project.
